Amazon Launches Instant Video On PS3

Amazon.com has launched a new, video streaming app on the PlayStation 3, the online retailer said Tuesday, which will allow owners of the video game console system to access its Amazon Instant Video service from the game console, if they have an Amazon Prime membership. According to Amazon, it has also inked a deal to be "prominently featured" on the Sony device. Details on the deal were not disclosed. Amazon said the app is available on the PS3's XrossMediaBar, or also on the PlayStation Store.
