Digimarc Buys Attributor

Beaverton, Oregon-based Digimarc, the developer of digital watermarking and other related technology, said Monday afternoon that it has acquired Attributor Corporation, a provider of technology for protecting electronic books from piracy. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Digimarc said that Attributor's customer include many of the world's largest and most prominent publishers.
