Jintronix Gets Funding From Madrona, Sets Up In Seattle

Jintronix, a developer of medical software aimed at physical and cognitive therapy and rehabilitiation, said it has raised a seed capital round from Madrona Venture Group. As part of the funding, the company said it is relocating to Seattle. Size of the funding round was not disclosed. Jintronix was previously based in Montreal, but had been partof MIcrosoft's Accelerator for Kinect program. Jintronix is led by Justin Tan, who created his company after his father suffered a stroke. According to a regulatory filing, the seed funding was worth $838,999. More information »
