Pirq Finds $1.2M More

Kirkland-based Pirq, the mobile applications developer headed by James Sun, has just pocketed $1.2M more in funding, as it looks to push its new local business punch card app. Pirq said the second round of venture capital brings its total raised to $3.2M. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. Pirq develops mobile applications aimed at local businesses, to help them boost customer loyalty and visits. The firm recently added a digital punchcard/loyalty feature which lets repeat customers get rewards and deals for visiting local businesses. Pirq's free app runs on Android and iPhone. The firm recently expanded beyond local, timed deals for restaurants and shifted towards increasing loyalty through its mobile punch card. More information »
