Abacast Inc., a provider of peer-to-peer streaming technologies and services, reported Wednesday that it has added Rob Green to its board of directors. Abacast described Green as an 18-year veteran of the content delivery network and software scenes. Prior to joining the firm's board, Green served as senior vice president of business development and strategy for Nine Systems, a CDN that Akamai Technologies acquired in December of 2006. Green has also served as a group manager of business development at Microsoft before his Nine Systems tenure. Abacast is headquartered in Camas, Wash.
