AbSci Finds $5.1M

Portland-based AbSci, a developer of a protein expression platform for use in biopharmaceuticals manufacturing, has raised $5.1M in a Series A funding, the company said today. The funding came from Phoenix Venture Partners (PVP). AbSci said it will use the funding for accelerating commercialization of its platform. AbSci is led by Sean McClain.
