Act-On Software Gets $16M

Beaverton, Oregon-based Act-On Software said Wednesday that it has raised $16M in a funding round, for the firm's marketing automation platform. The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included Trinity Ventures, US Venture Partners and Voyager Capital. Act-On, which is led by Raghu Raghavan, develops cloud-based, marketing automation software aimed at the small and mid-sized business market. The company said it will use the new funding for product innovation and "aggressive" expansion into new markets. More information »
