Actel, Mentor Expand Partnership

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics and Actel today said that the two companies have expanded an existing technology and marketing partnership. The two companies said that Actel will provide features of its Precision Synthesis software to Mentor Graphics as part of software for designing FPGAs. Actel is a manufacturer of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) used by hardware designers for designing products. Mentor is a supplier of software used by those hardware designers.
