Adapx Taps Microsoft For VP
Adapx, a Seattle-based publisher of digital writing and recording software, reported Monday that it has hired Ted Gauld as vice president of product management and marketing. Adapx said Gauld's responsibilities will include expanding its flagship Capturx product line, cultivating channel partnerships and establishing targeted marketing initiatives for enterprises and government agencies. Adapx described Gauld as a 20-year veteran of the product management and marketing fields, including several years with Microsoft. Most recently, Gauld was vice president of marketing for TrueContext Corp. Prior to that, he held various product planning and product management positions at Microsoft.
