Adapx Wins DARPA Contract

Seattle-based Adapx, the developer of digital pen capture software headed by Ken Schneider, reported this morning that it has scored a DARPA contract. Adapx said the new, $1.65M contract will go toward building advanced speech and sketch interfaces for Command and Control (C2) systems. The efforts will go to help with a the DARPA "Deep Green" program, which will allow commanders to speak and stretch military symbols on digital map displays. Adapx said it is working with DARPA contracts BAE and SAIC on the program.
