Airbiquity Wins Nissan

Seattle-based connected auto software and services developer Airbiquity has signed up another big auto manufacturer today, Nissan, saying that the company will help power the new NissanConnect Apps service. Airbiquity's software and services are the basis for NissanConnect Apps, a connected-car product that will roll out starting on the 2014 Altima. Nissan said it will feature the new cloud product on models worldwide, reaching 50 countries and 21 languages by the end of 2014. Financial details of the deal were not announced.
