Alaska Airlines Debuts Windows 8 Deals App

Seattle-based Alask Airlines has launched itself onto Microsoft's new Windows 8 operating system, saying this morning that it has debuted a new "Deals and Destinations" app for the OS. The new application provides alerts to fliers on fare to and from cities where a user lives, and deals to cities their friends are located in. Alaska said it is the first, U.S. carrier with a Windows 8 travel application.
