    Amazon.com Expands Into Office Supplies


    Seattle-based online retailer Amazon.com said today that it has launched a new online store focused on office supplies. According to Amazon, it is offering more than 500,000 products for the segment. The new office products store is a new department on the firm's web site, and offers products from such brands as Avery, Hammermill, Papermate, and others. Featured categories include staplers, pens and pencils, and paper.
