    Amazon.com Launches Independent Film Store


    Amazon.com said today that it has launched a new, Indie & Art House Store on the firm's e-commerce site, focused on independent filmmakers. According to Amazon, the new store will offer reviews and recommendations of independent films; among the first reviewers on the site is director and actor Jon Favreau, who made his breakthrough in the film "Swingers." Amazon said the new store is launching with more than 25,000 films, and also highlighted the availability of titles from its CreateSpace DVD on Demand service.
