Amazon.com Adds Free Movies, TV On IMDb.com

Seattle-based Amazon.com's Internet Movie Database, IMDb.com, said Monday afternoon that the site will offer more than 6,00 full length feature films and TV episodes for free on its site. According to Amazon, IMDb.com will allow its users to watch shows from CBS, Hulu, Sony Pictures Television and over 500 independent filmmakers. TV content includes "24," "Big Brother," "CSI," and "Beverly Hills, 90210". The firm also said that films included on the site include classic and recent films like "Raising Arizona" and "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World." The film and television shows are advertising supported through 30 second preroll and other advertising.
