Seattle-based Amazon.com has funded a New York-based firm creating tools to allow users to create personalized videos from photo and music, Animoto. Animoto did not disclose the amount of the funding. Animoto's photo sharing application automatically creates photo slideshows and effects, using photos uploaded by a user or imported from web photo services, and music from Animoto or from a user.
