Amazon Launches Kindle Daily Deal

Amazon.com has just launched a new, daily deals effort connected with its Kindle books, saying this morning that it is offering up a new Kindle Daily Deal, which offers a discount on a new Kindle book every day. The first offer is for the Miraculous journey of Edward Tulane, a children's book that normally costs $6.99, but is marked down to $1.39. The book is from Kate DiCamillo, who also authored The Tale of Despereaux.
