Amazon Looks To Track Every Diaper Change, Baby Feeding, With Alexa

Amazon is hoping that new parents will use Alexa to track every diaper change, infant feeding, and other activity of your baby, the company said on Tuesday, with a new "skill" and investment in a provider of information for new parents. According to amazon, it has launched the Baby Activity Skill API, a new "skill" type specifically aimed at helping users of Alexa Hatch Baby, a provider of parent and baby information, to help improve the kind of information Alexa provides to new parents about their new baby. Size of that investment, made out of Amazon's Alexa Fund, was not announced.
