Amazon's Kindle Paperwhite Ships Today

Amazon.com is shipping its new line of Kindle Paperwhite devices this morning, the company said, including both its 3G and non-3G versions of the electronic book reader. The new devices, which were announced last month, cost $179.00 for the 3G version and $119 for the non-3G version. Amazon said the new e-reader has 62 percent more pixels and 25 percent higher contrast to its prior Kindle readers.
