    Amazon Ties Into Roku

Seattle-based Amazon.com has tied its video on demand services to Roku, a developer of Internet-connected digital video players. According to Amazon.com, beginning sometime in early 2009, Roku's hardware will support Amazon's Video On Demand titles. Roku's services currently only support Netflix Internet titles. Financial details of the deal between the companies was not disclosed. Roku sells its set top boxes for $99; pricing on access to Amazon's Video On Demand titles was not released.
