    Amazon Unboxes Digital Video Download Service


    Seattle-based Amazon.com has released a new digital video download service, saying today that it will allow consumers to download DVD-quality videos to their PCs from the firm's online store. The new Amazon Unbox service includes video content from over 30 studio and networks encoded in the Windows Media format. The new download service is priced at $1.99 per episode of a television show, and movies between $7.99 and $14.99. The service also includes a rental option for $3.99.
