    Ambric Adds VP


    Beaverton, Oregon-based Ambric has named a new Vice President of Software, saying Monday that it has appointed Steve Frison to the position. Frison joins the firm from Stexar Corporation. Current VP of Software Jothy Rosenberg will become the firm's chief technical officer. Frison has also served as COO and CTO for Divx, and has also been at CenterSpan Communications, Intel, and Rational Software. Ambric is developing reprogrammable ICs use for massively parallel computing. The firm is backed by ComVentures, OVP Venture Partners, Northwest Technology Ventures and others.
