Analyst: Every Kindle Fire Generates $136 More In Sales

A new report today says that Amazon is generating more than $136M in additional, lifetime sales for each Kindle Fire sold, more than making up for an estimated $2 to $3 loss on each sale of the devices. AllThingsD quoted RBC Capital analyst Ross Sandler and a report issued to RBC's clients. The numbers came from a survey of Amazon Kindle owners conducted by RBC. The majority of that additional revenue is from Kindle books.
