Apparent Networks Raises $13.6M

Vancouver, BC-based Apparent Networks said today that it has raised $13.6M in a Series B financing round. The funding came from Bain Capital Ventures and JMI Equity, which led the round, along with existing investors Business Development Bank of Canada and Aden Investments. Apparent said that the funding will be used to expand the firm's sales and marketing, business development and R&D initiatives. Along with the funding Ben Nye of Bain Cpaital and Bradford Woloson of JMI Equity will join the firm's board. Apparent Networks develops software for network monitoring. More information »
