AppBank: 30,000 New Users

Seattle-based AppBank, a developer of tools which helps people create their own quizzes on Facebook, said today that it has added nearly 30,000 new users since its launch six weeks ago. The firm said its users are making up to a thousand dollars per month through the firm's platform, which shares ad revenues with creators of "quiz" games on Facebook's social networking service who use its service. AppBank explained that it has added a new scoring system for its quizzes, adding weighted answers; ability to include images and videos in those applications; and a new application directory, among other features. The company is also now allowing people from outside the U.S. and Canada to also use its platform. AppBank was started by Fred Hsu, one of the founders of Oversee.net, a major provider of advertising services to the domain name industry.
