AppFog Ties With MemCachier, StatsMix

AppFog, which provides a cloud-based, platform-as-a-service (PaaS) product, said Wednesday that it has tied into two new partners, MemCachier and StatsMix. MemCachier provides a memcache solution, and StatsMix provides business metrics tracking for applications. AppFog said the addition of the two brings it to more than a dozen partners. AppFog's PaaS service is used by developers to deploy cloud based applications, making it easier to deploy apps based on languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, Node.js and Perl. The firm's platform handles deployment, scaling, and management of apps built on those platforms. AppFog is headed by Lucas Carlson.
