AppThwack Gets Funding From In-Q-Tel

Portland-based app testing technology developer AppThwack has just announced funding from In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of the U.S. intelligence community and the CIA, the company said this morning. AppThwack did not disclose the exact terms of the investment, which came as part of a strategic partnership and technology development agreement. AppThwack offers up a service which tests mobile apps across a wide range of devices, OS versions, network configuration, and more, to help validate those apps before deployment.
