    Apptio Launches Enterprise Software Offerings


    Bellevue-based Apptio said today that it has officially launched the firm and emerged from stealth mode. The startup, which is venture backed by Greylock Partners, Madrona Venture Group, Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz, Ignition Ventures and Shasta Ventures, said that it will provide an on-demand offering for giving enterprises visibility into the cost of IT product and services. The company said its products will bring greater transparency to IT to help minimize IT costs and maximize IT business value.
