    Apptio Signs Customer


    Bellevue-based Apptio said Monday that it has signed on NYK Systems Research Institute (NSRI) as a customer. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. NSRI is the IT services division of a marine transportation provider, and provides IT services to a fleet of more than 740 vessels. According to Apptio, it will use Apptio's products to get greater visibility into its IT service costs. Apptio is venture backed by Greylock Partners, Madrona Venture Group, Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz, Ignition Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
