    Atlas Buys Accipiter


    Atlas, the technology business of Seattle-based aQuantive, said Monday evening that it has acquired Accipiter, in a cash deal worth $30.3M. Accipiter is a provider of ad serving technologies for web publishers. Atlas said it believes the acquisition will accelerate the firm's opportunity and impact in the market. The sale of Accipiter is one in a series of sales of the firm to multiple buyers in the last few years. Accipiter is is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has been owned by Engage, CMGI, and others.
