Portland, Oregon-based Attensa, a provider of RSS readers for the business market, said today it has added Dr. Andreas Weigend to its board of advisors. Weigend is the former Chief Scientist of Amazon.com, and currently heads People and Data, a strategic consulting firm based in San Francisco. Weigend also teached at Stanford. Attensa develops RSS readers used by companies to monitor news and blogs, and is backed by RSS Investors. Second Avenue, and SmartForest Ventures.
