Avanade Names Accenture Vet As New Board Member

Seattle-based Avanade, the joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft Corporation which focuses on providing consulting for Microsoft IT environments, said Wednesday that it has named Debra (Debbie) Polishook to the company's board of directors. Polishook is Group Chief Executive at Accenture Operations. She has been at Accenture for over 30 years. The companies said the move would help strengthen its alliance with Microsoft.
