Seattle-based Aventail Corporation has officially become part of network security hardware provide SonicWall, SonicWall said last night. Aventail, which was purchased by SonicWall in June for $25M in cash, has become part of SonicWall's Network Security business unit. SonicWall said that Aventail will continue its operations in Seattle, along with a technical support center based in Bangalore, India. SonicWall said it is incorporating its threat protection technology into Aventail's product line.
