Averetek Acquired By E2open

Edmonds, Washington-based Averetek, which develops channel marketing automation software, has been acquired by supply chain giant E2open. Financial details of the buy were not announced. E2open said that the acquisition will help it create the "most comprehensive end-to-end solution for channel sales & marketing". E2open operates a cloud-based, supply chain marketplace, and also develops related software. Averetek's tools help manufacturers with lead generation content, packaged marketing services, and demand creation tactics such as social media automation, event support, email marketing and web content syndication.
