Bezos-backed Mindstrong Health Raises $31M More

Mindstrong Health, a startup backed by Jeff Bezos which is developing technology it says can detect mental illness early to deliver preemptive care and improve outcomes, has raised $31M in an expanded Series B funding, the company said on Thursday. The funding was led by General Catalyst. MindStrong has previously raised funding from ARCH Venture Partners, Foresite Capital, Bezos Expeditions, Decheng Capital, Berggruen Holdings, and One Mind Brain Health Impact Fund. According to the company, General Catalyst's Hemant Taneja, plus Jefferson Health CEO Dr. Stephen K. Klasko have joined the company's board as a part of the funding. Mindstrong Health is led by founder and CEO Paul Dagum.
