Bill Gates Still Tops Among U.S. Billionaires

Bill Gates is still the top, U.S. billionaire, according to the latest ranking of the world's billionaires released by Forbes today. Forbes pegged Gates' current worth at $67 billion. However, Gates isn't the richest man in the world, according to the list; that title is now held by Mexico's Carlos Slim Helu. Other highly ranked billionaires on the list included Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com, at number 19 on th elist with $25.2 billion in riches; Microsoft's Steve Balmer was ranked number 51 at $15.2 billion, and fellow Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen ranked at 53 with $15 billion. Although not a technology moguls, Nike's Phil Knight was ranked 56 at $14.4 billion.
