Bing Gets Opening On iOS, Apple Recomendation

Are you one of those iOS 6 users who have been stuck with a poorly function Map application from Apple? In an unusual move for Apple, the company's CEO, Tim Cook, issued an apology on its web site, and recommended that users looking for a map application consider alternatives from app providers--including Bing. Cook said that Apple had "feel short" in its goal of delivering the best experience to its customers, after widespread complaints about the new Map application on iOS 6 and the new iPhone 5. Apple had displaced an application--powered by Google--for its own, homegrown solution, as it ramps up its battle with Google and its alternative Android operating system.
