Bing Updates Services

Microsoft's search engine, Bing, said last week that it has made a large number of updates. Among the updates were expansion of its links to Facebook, showing search results which are liked by friends of users; faster map access; and upgraded mobile phone features. With the Facebook feature, Bing said it will highlight search results that people's friends like, and expansion of its recently added "Liked" search results. Bing also updated both its iPhone and Android applications, adding check-ins with Bing, Facebook, Foursquare and Windows Live Messenger to the iPhone app, as well as streamlining the mobile homepage, among other updates.
