    BioPassword Changes Name to AdmitOne Security


    BioPassword, a developer of risk-based authentication software, reported Monday that it has changed its name to AdmitOne Security. The company provided no explanation for the change other than to say the new brand reflects "its leadership in risk-based authentication for the Web." AdmitOne also reported that it would seek to expand its product offerings. AdmitOne Security is a privately funded company headquartered in the Seattle suburb of Issaquah, Wash., and has received venture capital from Citrix, Ignition Partners, OVP Venture Partners, and RRE Ventures.
