    BioPassword Raises Strategic Round

Seattle-based BioPassword received a new, strategic round of funding from Citrix Systems earlier this week, saying that it will use the funding to further develop, market, and distribute it multi-factor authentication products. BioPassword is developing software that uses user keystroke patterns to determine if a user should have access to a system. BioPasswords said that the software currently supports biometric authentication with Citrix Presentation Server and Citrix Password Manager. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. BioPassword last raised a round of funding in November of last year from Ignition Partners and OVP.
