Blucora Names Monoprice Head

Bellevue-based Blucora, which owns Infospace, TaxACT, and Monoprice, has set a new President of its Monoprice subsidiary, the company said this week. Blucora said it has named Bernard W. Luthi as President of its Monoprice subsidiary, to oversee that e-commerce business. Luthi was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Buy.com/Rakuten.com, and also served at NewEgg.com, PC Mall, and Ingram Micro. Luthi replaces former president Ajay Kumar, who is leaving the company for other opportunities.
