Blue Nile CEO Resigns

Seattle-based online jewelry retailer Blue Nile said Tuesday evening that its CEO, Diane Irvine, has resigned from the company. The firm said taht Vijay Talwar, currently Senior Vice pReisdent and General Manager of International, will serve as Interim CEO while the company's board searches for a new, permnant CEO. Irvine has been at Blue Nile since it was founded. Reason for the resignation was not announced.
