    Bocada, CA Form Marketing Partnership


    Bocada Inc., a provider of data protection management software, reported Monday that it has formed a marketing partnership with CA Inc., the business software developer formerly known as Computer Associates International. Bocada said it has joined CA's "ca smart," a partner program that indicates compatibility between CA software and approved third-party applications. Concurrently, Bocada’s Enterprise application has been certified as "ca smart" with CA's ARCServe backup utility. In turn, Bocada said some CA resellers will earn certification in Bocada’s Data Protection Management Path to Excellence partner program. Bocada Inc. is a privately held company headquartered in Bellevue, Wash.
