 Monday, July 30, 2007 Bocada Adds NetBackup Plug-InData protection software developer Bocada Inc. reported Monday that it has created a new plug-in for one of its flagship applications. The company said the plug-in will enable Bocada Enterprise 5 users to monitor the activity of the popular Veritas NetBackup Puredisk backup utility software. Bocada's Enterprise 5 software is a data protection management application that gathers, analyzes and consolidates information from cross-platform environments. Bocada explained that, by adding support for NetBackup PureDisk, its Enterprise 5 customers will be able to better troubleshoot their enterprise data protection networks. Bocada is a privately held company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, and has received venture capital from Catamount Ventures, Guide Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Partech International and Second Avenue. posted on Monday, July 30, 2007
