    Bocada Gets Win At Microsoft


    Data protection management software publisher Bocada Inc. revealed Tuesday that technology heavyweight Microsoft Corp. has deployed two Bocada applications to manage mission-critical data protection operations and compliance issues. Specifically, Bocada said Microsoft's Information Technology group has implemented Bocada Centralized Manager for DPM 2007 and Bocada Enterprise for DPM 2007. Microsoft's System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 provides protection and data recovery for Microsoft applications and file servers. Bocada said Microsoft's IT department recently migrated to DPM 2007 and utilized Bocada's product suite to assist with the transition. Bocada is a privately held company headquartered in Bellevue, Wash.
