Bright.md Gets $3.5M For Virtual Healthcare

Portland-based Bright.md announced this morning that it has raised $3.5M in a funding round, to go towards its healthcare software-as-a-service. Bright.md said the Series A funding came from the Oregon Angel Fund, and also included Seven Peaks Ventures and Stanford-StartX Fund. Bright.md is led by Ray Costantini, and says its healthcare sofware acts as a "virtual physician's assistant", helping to collect online information from patients to help out primary care providers with diganosis, treatment, and documentation.
