buuteeq Gets $3.5M More

Seattle-based buuteeq, which provides online marketing and advertising systems for independent hotels, announced today that it has raised $3.5M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Mike Galgon and Geoff Entress, and also included Benaroya Capital Company and other Seattle angel investors. As part of the funding, the firm said that Galgon has joined the company's board of directors. buuteeq helps hotesl create web, mobile, and Facebook sites, and also helps drive promotions and handle reservation booking. The firm is led by Forest Key and Adam Brownstein, who were both previously at Microsoft. buuteeq said the funding brings its total raised to $5M. More information »
