CakeSystems Acquired By Renovate America

Portland, Oregon-based CakeSystems, a developer of home energy modeling and auditing software, has been acquired by Renovate America, the companies said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Renovate America said that CakeSystems' energy performance and energy audit tools are the most accurate, fastest, and easiest in the market. CakeSystems was owned by nonprofit Earth Advantage. Renovate America said the deal includes both the codebase and intellectual property assets of CakeSystems.
