Cardiac Insight Acquires Cardea Associates

Seattle-based medical device startup Cardiac Insight said this morning that it has acquired Cardea Associates, a developer of a handheld, heart monitoring and electrocardiogram (ECG) device. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cardea's ECG is being aimed at identification of cardiovascular issues associated with sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in young athletes.
