    Cequint Secures More Financing


    Seattle-based Cequint Inc., a developer of Caller ID technology for wireless phones, announced this morning that it has received another wave of financing. Specific dollar amounts were not disclosed, but Cequint said new investor iSherpa Capital led the funding effort. Existing investors, including Benaroya Companies, also participated. As a result of the funding, Nim Patel of iSherpa Capital will join Cequint's board of directors The privately held company is best known for City ID, a technology that helps identify unknown callers by displaying the city and state assigned to North American phone numbers.
